City of Heavenly Fire
The final book to the series: The Mortal Instruments, by Cassandra Clare, has come out May 27, and let me tell you it is amazing. The book is a little over 700 pages, but none of it gets dried out. The book keeps you amused, sad, and hooked on it. So far, in my personal opinion, this is the best book the author has written. Of course you will need to read the other books in the series, or you will be so lost. Once you have read those though, oh my gosh! the final has been incredible. The characters are vividly written , they are, the plot has got some serious depth into it, and it just has blown me away. A very quick over view is that: Sebastian, Clary's (the main character) brother, is trying to literally rise Hell. To add to the drama, he is turning Shadowhunters (half-angels, half-humans) into Endarken or Dark Shadowhunters (half-demon, half-human). I think you can imagine how that is bit mind-blowing, with a war going on that threatens the whole world in final, closure to The Mortal Instruments.
Maleficent
I'll be honest, I have not see this movie yet. Although, I really, really want to. I have talked to some of my friends that have seen, and they said it was great. One friend of mine, and I'll call her Susan even though it isn't her real name, said that they went all out on this movie and that Angelina Jolie (Maleficent) was great in it. The acting was great, and visuals look super cool! If you haven't seen the previews I suggest you do. I saw them and I am now dying to get in line for this movie. The movie that tells the backstory of the villain from Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent. Before you dismiss this as another Disney Princess movie, it hardly seems do. It looks epic and it looks like to has its own spin from the classic most of us know and love. Susan has even told me a little spoilers, and just from those it does sound different from the cartoon version. I am so excited to see Maleficent! (I am jealous because my older sister got to see it without me!)
Overdose
I doubt that any of you know who EXO is, unless you have seen My Favorites page, but they are a K-POP band. EXO is a boy band with twelve members in it. I would list them all, but twelve is a lot, so to save space I'm not going to name them all. However, names are not important right now. A few weeks ago EXO came up with the song Overdose. Heads up, when you first listen to K-POP you might not like it at first. It usually depends on the song that you heard for the first that falls under the K-POP category. Overdose shouldn't be the first song that you listen, at least not by them ,the first one you should listen to is probably Mama. Mama is the song that got me attached to them, and once you listen to that the rest of K-POP is somehow your favorite. That is what happened to me anyways, so I cannot grantee that will be your results. Try it out though; start with EXO's Mama or go straight to Overdose, whatever floats your boat.
