Eragon Book Review
Eragon, a 15 year old boy as the book begins, finds a blue stone that appeared by an explosion. He was in the Spine when it happened. He took it back to Carvahall his home village. He thought it would be able to buy some food. He later finds out that it is a dragon egg. It hatches for him introducing the fabled Dragon Riders stories. He names it Saphira. He then escapes out of Carvahall and he goes with the village storyteller named Brom. Eragon is training with Brom. Finally one day Eragon has to face the evil King Galbatorix who is also a dragon rider. Will this once simple farm boy be able to defeat the most powerful enemy in all of Alagaësia?Even with the help of his powerful allies? Everyone hopes so, for he is there only hope.
I think this is a book that deserves to be passed down from generation to generation. And not just the first book but the whole series. It is called the Inheritance Cycle. The book Eragon is in my top three favorite series ever read. I would highly suggest anyone who likes Lord of The Rings or The Chronicles of Narnia to read this series, esp. Eragon. In case anyone wants to know what the order of the books are here it is: Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, Inheritance. I personally think that these books should also be recommended to your friends.
